I’ve come to the conclusion that your clothes should be like your friends. Now, just hear me out before you think I’ve been on the vino again.
You know you get those comparison sites where you look at prices and invariably go for the cheapest and then wonder why the thing you bought didn’t meet your expectations? Yep, you’re busted.
Anyway, here’s my comparison of the qualities I expect from both, clothes vs friends:
Clothes - they don’t fall apart after the first wear or the first wash
Friends - I trust them to carry me home as and when required
Clothes - they’re practical and do what they’re meant to do
Friends - tell me when I look good, and more importantly, tell me when I need to take a long, hard look at myself
Clothes - sometimes I want to wear the same outfit multiple times at various places
Friends - they make me laugh when I’m in the mood, and comfort me when I need a hug
Clothes - hey, who doesn’t want to look stylish!?
Friends - my friends are a reflection of me. When they look good, I look good
Clothes - when I wear my clothes I’ve gotta feel good. Head held high, shoulders back
Friends- they’ll always have my back. I feel good when I’m out with buddies
For the Bold clothing collection, we make our clothes the same way we want our friends.
